Somehow, we still have unreleased demos. These are the final remaining bits of anything related to Caution (we think). Here’s a little context for each--
1) We’ll Say Anything (Gainesville Demo)
This is pretty close to the album version. Tracked in Gainesville at Goldentone.
2 )Wreckstatic
This is an early version of what would go on to become Vultures on Light It Up. We always loved the main riff but were never totally happy with any of the ideas around it. Some songs take 15 years. Tracked in Beltsville at Salad Days during the Caution sessions.
3) Unnamed Instrumental Demo
20 years later and we still don’t have vocals for it, but everyone still thinks the music is cool. Tracked in Beltsville at Salad Days during the Caution sessions.
4) Seein Diamonds (Guitar Only Guide Track)
This is a relic of not having a recording studio on your phone. Wollard had the full idea for Seein Diamonds worked out so he tracked it for the rest of us to be able to listen to and work on at home. Tracked in Gainesville at Goldentone during the same session as the We’ll Say demo.

Such a fun demo, glad I discovered this version when I did. Also love Chris' track, even though he kinda sounds like Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy at times hahaha (no offense Chris, love ya man). I love Equalized, Split, and Better Half, but Caroline is such a cool track with that killer bassline. huskers_fan99
