Time has told an overdose of dragging out the old fiend and choking on a pipe dream will lay to waste and lay to fade away. Yet here we go to overdose on dragging out the old fiend to rally round a right dream to rise and take and rise to push a wake. Are you tired? Are you broken? Are you dreaming that you’re choking? We all know the old road. We all know the result. Here we go on rules of old cutting down the heartbeat and degrading all we can’t see to lay to waste and lay to fade away. Are you tired? Are you broken? Are you dreaming that you’re choking? We all know the old road. We all know the result. What happened to peace? Let’s contemplate alone. We chose a hateful way shot to hell and wrong. What happened to peace? Let’s contemplate alone. Don’t spit on a grave whether we know or not the soul gone. Are you tired? re you broken? Are you dreaming that you’re choking? We all know the old road. We all know the result.
Coming back to punk rock after spending a lot of time away listening to other things made this extremely hard hitting and fresh. McCaughan's poetic lyricsm in Sundowner shines through in this release. Somehow Metropole didn't hit me like most, but I can see how "You Are Here" was a precursor to one of my favorite records to come. Shaughn Martel
