I get along fine, but I just don’t ever get enough. I see it all right, but it just don’t ever measure up.And I know this don’t make no sense, But I can’t sleep right. Just like everybody else. Displaced and overgrown. Divided later on. Denatured all along the vine, And raised to roam. I never let my little rough steps settle in the mud. I leave it all right in the dust and kill it with the sun. And I keep building my defense, Cause I can’t sleep right. Just like everybody else. Displaced and overgrown. Divided later on. Denatured all along the vine, And raised to roam.
Coming back to punk rock after spending a lot of time away listening to other things made this extremely hard hitting and fresh. McCaughan's poetic lyricsm in Sundowner shines through in this release. Somehow Metropole didn't hit me like most, but I can see how "You Are Here" was a precursor to one of my favorite records to come. Shaughn Martel
